The BLINDFELLAN BLINDFOLD, is a perfect example of things that are not quite what they seem to be. While it appears that the performers head is wrapped in a thick opaque bandage, it is in fact wrapped in a custom designed purpose-built material that replicates that of a standard bandage.
It has two qualities that set it apart from the cloth Ace bandages that it so closely resembles.
The first is that it sticks to itself, so there is no need to pin, tape or knot it after putting it on. While this makes it very convenient to use as a blindfold or as a base for an even more elaborate eye covering, its other quality is what makes it particularly valuable to the mentalist.
